About Para-Projects

Para-Projects was formed in November 2007 by Rob Bethell, Jebby Robinson and Mark Rosney - who have collectively 'clocked up' over 35 years experience in investigating and researching the paranormal, as independent investigators and as members of prominent North West (England) paranormal groups.

We are neither believers or skeptics, preferring a no-nonsense objective approach to investigation, research and training. With that aim in mind we conduct instrument based investigations in controlled situations, where human presence in the location under scrutiny is kept to a minimum.

We do not use psychics or mediums in our investigations because we feel that psychic abilities and mediumship are still largely unknown quantities that deserve investigating in their own right before they are brought to bear on other unknowns.

In addition, we feel that most of what is commonly 'taken as given' in paranormal circles, (for instance, the common belief that an apparition is the ghost of someone who has passed on, etc) is based on very shaky foundations, that need to be carefully re-evaluated.

To that end, we look for 'phenomena' that cannot be explained rationally and then try to understand the circumstances surrounding the events, and the possible mechanisms behind them, in order to make aspects of the 'Para' more 'Normal'. 

We not only investigate paranormal activity, but also provide no-nonsense impartial information about the paranormal via our consultancy work and research.

In addition, we offer paranormal training courses for anyone who would like to develop their own investigative skills or gain a deeper understanding of the paranormal.
